If you’re like me and love brunch. You’ll want it every day and everywhere. Including in the comfort of your own home.


To recreate mine and Alex’s brunch all you have to do is follow these three simple steps.

Step 1. Invite your friend(s) over.

Step 2. Set out a rug and some cushions outside.

Step 3. Get cookin’.

It’s as easy as that!

All I did here was blend a few dollops of sour cream with some tinned beetroot and spread it across the plate with a pastry brush. Following this I simply added toasted sourdough, smashed avocado, crumbled feta, a sprinkling of dukkah and a perfectly poached egg.


Optional extra: Crispy bacon.
